On Monday 12th November, BB&J Commercial and its sister company Boxall Brown & Jones held a Bake-Off competition and cake sale in aid of Children In Need. The charity touches the hearts of many people as it helps to provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged and help them to be happy, safe and secure and able to achieve their full potential.
Whilst we don’t quite have any Mary Berry’s or Paul Hollywood’s in the office, lots of the staff made a great effort to put together some fantastic ideas for their cakes and the results were amazing! The star baker was our own Lucy Smith who made an amazing colourful strawberry and vanilla ‘explosion’ cake!
We are delighted to announce that we managed to raise £202.76 on the day and we would like to thank the many local business friends and clients who popped in to buy a slice of cake and help support such a great cause.
