Double Deal at The Tangent

BB&J Commercial, acting on behalf of their retained clients Bolsover District Council, are delighted to announce the letting of both an office and industrial premises to Martin Engineering at the newly developed Tangent Business Hub in Shirebrook.

As part of a wider regeneration scheme aimed at bringing employment opportunities to the area, Bolsover District Council speculatively developed Phase 2 of The Tangent Business Hub to complement their already successful Phase 1 of the project providing serviced offices and workshop space.  Of the seven new units completed in February of this year, four are now already occupied.

The ingoing tenants, Martin Engineering, are an international leader in the development, manufacture and supply of innovations for bulk material handling.  Having been in existence for in excess of 70 years, the move sees them establish key additional regional premises to add to their existing presence in over 19 countries across 6 different continents.

Senior Surveyor, Chris Keogh of BB&J commented “Bolsover District Council should be congratulated on delivering seven high quality industrial units that are in keeping with the adjacent business hub with the site providing the perfect environment for SME’s.  We are delighted to have secured two lettings to Martin Engineering of both an office and workshop unit with the latter representing roughly £9psf which clearly sets the bar at a new level in terms of industrial/workshop rentals.  Given the levels of interest in the scheme we anticipate the remaining units will be occupied very shortly.”
