BB&J Commercial have successfully concluded the sale of the former Holts Cycles premises which had been trading from this address since 1968 thus ending a 50 year association.
The disposal is to the home improvements firm, Everlast, who are relocating from leasehold premises within the city. Whilst the building will still be utilised as a showroom it is envisaged that the new purchasers will commence with a thorough programme of refurbishment and modernisation.
Chris Keogh said “The sale to Everlast brings the curtain down on one of Derby’s oldest businesses and one which our client played an integral role in the history of. However, the building is to be repurposed and with the creation of jobs in an area which will hopefully be a hotspot for development and regeneration, this can only be viewed as a positive.”
