One of the Global leaders in inspection, testing, engineering, heat treatment and software services to the process industries, IRISNDT has taken occupation of approximately 10,000sq.ft of industrial space at the former Bemrose Booth site on Wayzgoose Drive, Derby just off Pentagon Island.
IRISNDT is the UK arm of an international group with offices in Canada and the USA globally and who employ over 800 staff. The move sees IRISNDT open their eighth operation in the UK to complement their existing locations at Ellsmere Port, Hull, Immingham, Stockton, Hull and Pembroke and Chatham.
Roman Kyrnyckyj, Managing Director of IRISNDT said “IRISNDT are very excited about the opening of our new laboratory in Derby. It gives us access to new markets in the industrial midlands which we are very optimistic about. We cannot thank both IvyGrove Developments and BB&J Commercial enough for their assistance in setting up this new venture”.
The deal was brokered by Graham Bancroft, Partner at BB&J Commercial on behalf of the landlord, Ivygrove Developments. Graham commented “We met with Roman and his colleagues toward the end of last year and fairly quickly grasped the concept of what they were trying to achieve and what they were looking for in a property. Consequently, on behalf the landlord we managed to negotiate a new 10 year lease which demonstrates IRISNDT’S long term commitment to Derby.”
