An industrial unit in Ilkeston was sold to a communications company before it had been built.
Situated just off Crompton Road on the Quarry Hill Industrial Estate, the 1,924 sq. ft. property was due to be completed at the beginning of Q2 2022. Meanwhile the eager purchaser made their offer in late 2021.
The newly built unit was marketed by Derby-based commercial property agents, BB&J Commercial. The property was purchased by Nexsis Comms Ltd, a communications firm that provides advice and handles the installation of communication systems.
The property comprises a semi-detached business unit and benefits from an enclosed yard with parking and turning for several vehicles.
Mark Richardson, Partner at BB&J Commercial and Agent responsible for the property said, “this successful deal demonstrates the high demand for industrial units right now and the need for a space that can be fit out to the purchasers needs.”
“We are pleased that the vendor got the offer they wanted, while helping individuals find the property they need. Many businesses are looking for industrial space right now, and I highly encourage anyone looking to sell or let to get in touch.”
