Supporting Derby County FC – What Can We Do To Help?

The long and now desperate fight to save Derby County is deep in legal and financial issues that are threatening to take one of England’s oldest clubs out of existence.

Currently, Derby are facing one of the biggest decisions they will ever have to make. The team has been given until February 1 to prove to the EFL they have the funds to finish the season, or they will be forced out of the league and into liquidation.

The club has been in administration since September 2021 after racking up debts in a bid to secure promotion. In punishment for financial rule breaches and administration, the Rams have received a 21-point deduction.

Despite the debts, potential buyers are waiting to move in however, any sale has stalled because of legal claims against the club raised by Middlesbrough and Wycombe.

Derby County Football Club was established in 1884 and has since grown a large following.

Now, the team needs our support more than ever.

At BB&J Commercial, many of us have been huge supporters since a young age and others have joined the following since moving to the vibrant city. As a local business, and more importantly a Derby County FC fan, we understand the frustrations and urgency of finding a solution.

The club has already received a great deal of support from far and wide. That is why we want to share how others can get involved and show their support too, no matter where you are!
