The former Creswell swimming baths and Leisure Centre have stood closed since 2016 but after a sale by BB&J Commercial, new life could be brought to this area of town.
Upon the instruction of our retained client, Bolsover District Council, BB&J Commercial placed the former Creswell Leisure Centre and swimming baths on the open market for disposal. The building extended to approximately 10,000sq ft and was set on a site of 0.42 acres and due to its unique nature it offered the potential for a variety of different redevelopment or conversion options subject to gaining all necessary consents.
After discussions with our client, due to the levels of interest in the property, we invited ‘best and final’ bids on the property by a set date and an offer was then accepted with the property being sold to local developer.

However, the property still offered a lot of potential for conversion or development and therefore attracted a good amount of interest.
