Commercial property agent Chris Keogh has joined BB&J Commercial in Derby and will play an important role in the company’s plans to further expand its geographical reach.
Mr Keogh has extensive experience and a high profile in the commercial property market including previous senior positions at Salloways and the Peveril Group.
He will focus on expanding the agency side of the business including sales, lettings, acquisitions and disposals and will lead on the company’s growing client portfolio in the north and south of the county and further afield across the East Midlands.
BB&J Commercial was established in 2010 as a standalone commercial property division of the residential agency Boxall Brown & Jones, which was founded in 1990.
Mr Keogh said: “I was keen to join BB&J who are a growing, forward-thinking and proactive company who put their clients first and have a superb reputation in the commercial property sector both locally and regionally.
“The company is the perfect fit for my knowledge and expertise and I look forward to working with the team to further grow the business.”
Partner Mark Richardson added: “Chris’ appointment further strengthens our agency operations at a crucial time in the local and regional commercial property market.
“Having become well established in the city, we are looking to further expand our geographical reach and Chris’ knowledge and experience will be invaluable in achieving this goal.
“With a continued lack of new development, it is vitally important to have extensive knowledge and experience in the opportunities available through the secondary market.
“I am confident that we now have the team in place to provide the full range of property services to our clients.”
