The property provides circa 2,400sq.ft of high quality office/professional space set over both ground and first floor levels and is located in the heart of Derby’s historic Cathedral Quarter. The property has been let to Mach Recruitment to enable their regional growth plans and to service recent contracts which they have secured within the area.
Despite the building not being actively on the market, when the enquiry was received from Mach Recruitment, Chris Keogh of BB&J Commercial used some out of the box thinking in order to put together a deal. He was able to put together a proposal to the Landlord and thereafter agreed terms fairly swiftly to make the whole transaction seamless and stress free.
“This deal is one that we have really had to be creative about as our client was not initially in the market to let their premises. However the terms that we proposed and ultimately agreed with Mach Recruitment proved to be an opportunity too good to turn down.” Said Chris Keogh of BB&J Commercial.
“At the end of April we received a call from Richard Duckett, Regional Operations Manager, Mach Recruitment who had come to Derby with the intention of ‘scoping’ suitable premises for their new regional base. Fortunately, as we are located in the city centre ourselves we are generally able to instantly respond to such ‘ad-hoc’ visits from potential tenants/purchasers and on this occasion it proved to be successful. Once we were able to agree terms with Mach Recruitment all parties worked towards a lease completion date of the end of May which was duly met and would not have been possible without the hard work put in by all parties including my clients solicitor Philip Brammall of Franklin and Co and the tenants legal counsel, Ian Barker of Watson Burton.”
