In a move which has already received significant press coverage BB&J Commercial are delighted to have agreed a deal which brings Costa Coffee to a busy Derby shopping centre. The letting of the former Allestree branch of The Royal Bank of Scotland was brokered by senior agency surveyor Chris Keogh and will see Costa Coffee take occupation of the 1,200sq.ft property at Park Farm shopping centre.
News of Costa Coffee’s pending arrival was broken in the Derby Evening Telegraph who reported that planning permission for change of use had been applied for in October of this year. Following the grant of planning we are pleased to announce that terms have been concluded on a new 15 year lease for the property.
Chris remarked “Park Farm is a busy local centre and it is a surprise that Costa have not taken root here sooner. The building was let in a shell specification and is already undergoing a substantial refit in-keeping with Costa’s branding with a view to opening its doors in 2020.”
