Due to limited resources, a tight search perimeter and strict operational criteria Trustees of Derby Mountain Rescue Team had struggled for 10 years to identify a site suitable for a much needed new HQ premises.
On learning of the requirement, Chris Wright of BB&J Commercial offered assistance and through local market knowledge was quickly able to identify a site with great potential. The greenfield site was off market and did not have planning permission.
BB&J Commercial had an existing relationship with the site owners Estate Mangers; Bidwells who were pleased to help this very worthy cause. An off market deal, subject to planning was agreed in 2013 and we are pleased to report a sale has recently been concluded.
